WELCOME TO OUR BREWERY & TAPROOM!

Located on Main Street in Hudson's Historic Downtown Business District

Medusa Brewing Company opened to the public in March of 2015 on Main Street in Hudson, MA. Since then, Head Brewer Keith Antul has been hard at work handcrafting ales and lagers that reflect the global landscape of beer. From beautifully constructed American-style ales to traditional European-inspired recipes, Medusa Brewing Company strives to provide for the ultimate variety in our draft selection.

Our brewery and taproom are the result of a staggering, 15-month buildout that had owners and friends working around the clock to complete their vision. An enormous 50-foot bar constructed of salvaged steel and white oak acts as the centerpiece of the taproom. The Beer Hall provides for a more formal area where guests can enjoy full-service ordering while seated at hand-built mahogany wood tables. We invite you to come and enjoy what we have, and will continue to create. Cheers!

5 oz. $3 | 13 oz. $6 | 16 oz.  $7

ORDO LUPULUS

Hoppy Belgian - 7.2%

This pale, golden ale was fermented with a traditional Trappist yeast and then dry-hopped with Amarillo and Czech Saaz hops. Dry, with classic Belgian esters giving way to intensely floral and herbal hop characters.

5 oz. $3 | 13 oz. $5 | 16 oz.  $6     ♦     Growler Fills:  32 oz. $8 | 64 oz. $15

STEADY ABBOT

Patersbier - 4.3%

A traditional Belgian-style table beer, made with a blend of continental pilsner and Belgian toasted malts. Light and dry, with classic Trappist esters.

5 oz. $2 | 13 oz. $4 | 16 oz.  $5 ♦     Growler Fills:  32 oz. $7 | 64 oz. $13

DOUBLE DRY-HOPPED CITRA LEGACY

American IPA - 6.8%

This IPA gets its huge, citrus hop-punch from (surprise) Citra and Legacy hops! A healthy addition of both malted and flaked rye adds a subtle spicy touch.  Less subtle is the fact that we've dry-hopped this batch with twice the normal volume, resulting in an intensely hazy, hoppy variation on a taproom favorite.

5 oz. $3 | 12 oz. $7♦     Growler Fills:  NO GROWLERS

Prosperous

American IPA - 6.8%

This American IPA has a clean, dry body, and is packed with Cascade, Apollo, and Rakau hops for a distinct herbal and citrus/grapefruit aroma. (LLAP.)

5 oz. $3 | 13 oz. $5 | 16 oz.  $6     ♦     Growler Fills:  32 oz. $8 | 64 oz. $15

Zweihänder

Imperial IPA - 8.2%

This two-fisted Imperial IPA has prodigious amounts of orange, tangerine, and melon character from the unusual German hop varieties Mandarina Bavaria and Hull Melon, as well as a touch of Citra and Azacca.

5 oz. $3 | 13 oz. $7     ♦     Growler Fills:  32 oz. $11 | 64 oz. $21

BLIGHTY

English Porter - 6.2%

This American IPA has a clean, dry body, and is packed with Cascade, Apollo, and Rakau hops for a distinct herbal and citrus/grapefruit aroma. (LLAP.)

SOLO PROJECT: VIC SECRET

RUCTION

Old School American IPA - 6.2%

A bit of a departure from the current trend of intense citrus in the modern RUCTION utilizes Simcoe, Chinook, and Cascade to impart distinctly piney, resinous, dank tropical flavors alongside a firm bitterness.

5 oz. $3 | 13 oz. $5 | 16 oz.  $6     ♦     Growler Fills:  32 oz. $8 | 64 oz. $15

SIMON

Festbier - 5.6%

Our rendition of the popular daily drinker of the modern Oktoberfest, this pale, golden lager carries a hint of toastness from an addition of Barke Vienna malt.  Gently hopped with German Opal for a delicate floral character.

5 oz. $3 | 13 oz. $5 | .5L $6     ♦     Growler Fills:  32 oz. $8 | 64 oz. $15

HECUBUS

Märzen - 5.9%

For those seeking a fuller-bodied lager, HECUBUS follows the path of the traditional amber Märzen, built from a blend of German Pilsner and Munich malts.  Hopped with German Merkur, this one has a touch more fruitiness and caramel character, but is still designed to be quite stein-worthy.

5 oz. $3 | 13 oz. $5 | .5L $6     ♦     Growler Fills:  32 oz. $8 | 64 oz. $15

DUCHOVNI

Czech Pilsner - 5.5%

BYOF – We utilize the Bring Your Own concept when it comes to food. Feel free to treat your visit like a picnic to the park, but with beer! There are many options available for take-out or delivery as well, so feel free to indulge in Hudson's culinary options during your visit to Medusa.

Kid Friendly – While Medusa is a kid friendly establishment, we ask that you use your best judgement when planning a visit with children. At 6pm, we begin to follow a 21+ policy.

No Dogs – We previously attempted to maintain a "Dog Friendly" atmosphere in our taproom, but unfortunately a number of uncomfortable, unhealthy, and possibly dangerous experiences led us to end this offering.

NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL – While we do allow outside food to be brought in, the Town of Hudson does not allow alcoholic beverages of any kind to be brought into our taproom. This includes wine, beer, and spirits.

Growlers – All of our beer is initially available in growlers as well as draft. Check our Draft List for current growler availability. In accordance with MA state law, we do not currently fill any growlers that are not our own. We do not allow filled growlers to be consumed on premise.
