"WET RAKAU", the latest in our Solo Project series, is a single-hopped American Pale Ale featuring whole cone, wet Rakau hops grown at Four Star Farms in Northfield, MA! We put together this little video to show just how cool everything about this is!

MORE HOURS & MORE BEER!

We are excited to announce yet another expansion of our taproom hours. Beginning this week, we are now pulling our weekday opening time back to 3:00PM, adding in Mondays, and opening Fridays at NOON! In addition to opening earlier, we are also planning to stay open a little later each night, but will take this on a day-to-day basis.

If you've been to the taproom lately, you may have notice a higher number of beers available on draft and in growlers. Head Brewer Keith Antul has been brewing beer like crazy to meet demand, and we've finally hit a nice balance. Around this time last year, our draft list will likely have featured about 8 different beers. Today, we have TWENTY on draft and plan to keep that number up there. Check out our draft list for what's current!

INTRODUCING NITRO COLD-BREWED COFFEE

We've teamed up with our friends at Union Coffee Roaster of Ayer, MA to bring you expertly roasted coffee, served with a unique twist. Instead of brewing and serving our coffee hot, we use the cold-brew method to slowly brew the coffee into a concentrate over 16+ hours. We then blend this concentrate with our filtered brewing water and transfer the solution into a keg. Nitrogen gas is then used to pressurize the keg and deliver the beer to a special faucet installed behind our bar. The resulting product is a delectable, chilled, creamy, cascading coffee, poured neat into a 10oz mug for your enjoyment. Cheers!

Not only will farms be selling their goods and letting you taste them, but we'll be there with some other great breweries to keep you refreshed throughout the day!

DUCHOVNI TAKES THE GOLD!

This past week, we traveled to Philly for the Craft Brewers Conference and World Beer Cup. Little did we know that one of our submissions to the World Beer Cup would be coming home as a first-place winner...

The World Beer Cup is the most prestigious of competitions in the professional brewing landscape, and only takes place every two years. With over 230 judges from around the globe, and over 6500 beers entered, it is the largest international beer competition in the world.

On Friday, May 6th, "Duchovni", our take on the Bohemian-style Czech Pilsener, won GOLD in the Bohemian Style Pilsener category. We could not be more proud of this accomplishment, not only for Medusa and Co-Founder/Head Brewer Keith Antul, but for the Massachusetts beer scene in general. #MABeer made a big showing, with other awards going to Newburyport Brewing Co., Boston Beer Co., and Night Shift Brewing Co. Cheers! to our brewing brethren, the Town of Hudson, and to all of you who have supported us from the beginning!
