Co-founder and Head Brewer

Keith brings a cunning track record of homebrewing experience with him to Medusa Brewing Company. With both local and national praise, Keith holds a collection of over 70 homebrewing awards that span 30 different categories, including 7 Best-of-Show Honors. Now he's hard at work creating ales and lagers on our 7-barrel brewing system. All of Keith's beer is made first available in the taproom, and occasionally to select draft accounts. Tom-Sutter

TOM

Co-founder and Business Manager

There's nothing that he can't fix, and he is almost always seen with a wrench in his hand. Tom holds an extensive background as a Research Director in the Specialty Chemicals industry, with years of experience in business and marketing. He supports the brewing production, as well as the business and facilities aspects of Medusa. Tom brings with him over 20 years of homebrewing experience, along with a deep knowledge of the global craft beer industry.

Sully

Co-founder and General Manager

With a background heavily focused on technology and security, Sully brings a unique angle of experience to Medusa. Managing the taproom, its events, and our social media initiatives, Sully is either busy behind a computer or pouring beer behind our beautiful bar. Like his partners, Sully not only shares a deep appreciation for beer itself, but for its industry and the history behind it.

Badger

Badger

Assistant Brewer

"Badger" comes to Medusa with a background in the tireless needs of farming, particularly the orchard business, as well as brewing and wine-making at the nearby Nashoba Valley Winery. His strong work ethic can be seen pouring beer in the taproom or behind a safety mask in the brewery. Badger is an avid homebrewer and larper.

 
Alyssa-Lawrence

Alyssa

Assistant Brewer and Bar Manager

Formerly an assistant brewer at Boston Beer Works, and then a brewing instructor at Hopsters, Alyssa brings a rich experience in both brewing and the industry itself. Alyssa fills both pints and kegs, depending on her role for the day, and is always happy to talk shop! Alyssa is a Certified Cicerone Beer Server, and helped us open the doors on day one!

 
Hilary-Abigana

Hilary

Bar Manager

Originally from California, Hilary has deep roots in the appreciation of good beer and fine whiskey. She is a lover of all styles, especially sours, and we consider her our resident "beer nerd". When Hilary is not pouring you a delicious Medusa beer, she spends her time rehearsing and performing with her hybrid arts ensemble, The Fourth Wall.

 

 
Kathy-DiLeo

KATHY

Bar Manager

A former corrections officer and bartender with over 12 years of experience, Kathy is a force to be reckoned with. You can find her rocking the tap tower almost every Friday while serving beer with authority. Outside of work, Kathy spends her free time volunteering to help animals and local shelters. She rocks.

 

A-Bomb

Bar Manager

A-Bomb brings 15 years of bartending experience and a whole lot of hustle to Medusa. She has been with us since the beginning and a dear friend. The only thing she loves more than great beer and conversation is her big Italian family.

 

 

Drea

Beertender

Drea has many years of customer service experience and has been slinging beers in the beer hall since we first opened. She loves serving beer to the friendly faces Medusa is always bringing in. When she isn't at Medusa she is running her small errand business, cooking, crafting like a super nerd, and spending time with friends and family.

Beertender

Marc's first beer was a home brew and he enjoys growing hops. His professional love of beer developed at the Culinary Institute of America where he earned his degree in 2013. He then spent three years with Nashoba Winery as an assistant wine crafter, brewer, and distiller. While there, it is said he began a bromance with Jeff, who he nicknamed Badger. Please feel free to discuss pairings or other brewski information as he is also a Certified Beer Server.

 

EMILY

Bar Manager

Emily has over nine years of experience in bartending and beverage management. Apart from a love for craft cocktails, Emily also enjoys volunteer work for animal shelters and advocating for animal rights. In her free time she enjoys gardening, trying out new recipes and finding new beers to try!

 

Amy

Beertender

Always smiling, Amy is a people person who has been in the industry for twenty years. She is an avid nutritionist and advocate for sustainable agriculture. Her love for supporting local farmers is what drew her to Medusa. When she is not pouring craft beers you can find her working at nearby farms, studying for her bachelors degree to become a Registered Dietitian or volunteering in the community.
